Step 1.
Don't forget to fill out your phone information so you can send text message updates!
Step 2.
Start sending us what you had via Text Messages (SMS) or Email.
The Rules on Sending:
1) Send all messages (texts or email) to:
"belly@ihadwhat.com"
2) Use simple names for food and drink items --
check our search page to get ideas.
3) Separate items with commas.
4) If you want to send a note, start your message with
"note:"
* OPTIONAL:
Sometimes emails and text messages have extra information tagged onto the end of them (ads, email signatures, etc).
If you end your text message or email with ":)" -- we'll cut off any of that extra information tagged onto the end of it.
Examples:
Say for breakfast you had orange juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, and a bagel.
You send: "orange juice, 2 scrambled eggs, 3 bacon, 1/2 bagel :)"
If you want to remember that brand of wine from dinner.
You send: "note: That Sutter Home Pinot Noir was amazing :)"
(ps- we're not saying Sutter Home Pinot Noir is in fact amazing.)
Other uses for notes: keeping track of when you exercised, remembering certain foods that didn't agree with you, noting times during the day that you feel run down...
Step 3.
Check your belly-brain.
Once you upgrade, you'll be able to add in your own custom food and drink items with these easy steps:
Step 1.
Fill in the information for your custom food or drink item just like in the diagram below.
Step 2.
When we receive a message from you, we'll check your custom items first, and then if we don't find a match, we'll check the regular database.
Also with your upgrade, you'll be able to have notifications sent to your phone or email when you reach your daily calorie limit:
Step 1.
Fill in the information for your personal notification just like in the diagram below.
Step 2.
When we receive items from you, we'll check to see if you've hit your personal calorie limit for that day. If you have, we'll automatically send you a text or email (or both) to let you know.
